DHL Global Forwarding launched new cross-border e-commerce solutions to prepare for the holiday shopping season. The service promises delivery from China to Germany within 4-5 days. Expedited options are also available for Europe, the U.K., and the U.S., enabling smooth shipment before the holiday rush.
China's cross-border e-commerce has expanded despite global economic uncertainty. In 2024, trade reached 1.22 trillion yuan ($155B), a 10.5% rise year-on-year. DHL's Global Shopper Trends Report shows that 53% of European online shoppers buy from China. DHL’s Aditi Rasquinha highlighted Europe as a growing market for Chinese sellers like Shein and AliExpress.
The service provides seamless integration for platforms and marketplaces. DHL’s “ONE DHL” solution offers full or semi-tracking options, customs clearance, and direct access to over 10,000 logistics experts worldwide. Robin Li from DHL emphasized its ease for small and medium-sized sellers unfamiliar with logistics regulations.
With the year-end peak season approaching, DHL’s solution helps sellers reach global customers without logistical headaches. “We are ready to serve peak demand," said Aditi Rasquinha. The service supports European, U.K., and U.S. markets, offering 24/7 shipment tracking and managed customs clearance for fast, hassle-free delivery.
