Since September, over 7,000 brands have used Faire's Promoted Listings, leading to an 80% increase in product views. CEO Max Rhodes reports this tool now makes up nearly 5% of Faire's revenue.
In September 2024, Faire launched Promoted Listings, enabling brands to advertise directly to retailers. Over 7,000 brands have since adopted this tool, resulting in an 80% increase in product views on search and category pages. CEO Max Rhodes states, "That makes it the fastest growing business we’ve ever launched."
Promoted Listings now contribute nearly 5% to Faire's revenue. This pay-per-click model charges brands only when a retailer clicks on their promoted product. Brands set their budget, and Faire's algorithm targets high-intent retailers, simplifying the advertising process.
Cookie brand Fancypants began using Promoted Listings in November 2024. In January 2025, they secured 27 new retailers in just four days. Founder Maura Duggan notes, "We got a lot of new retail customers that normally would never have found us otherwise."
Faire is introducing a feature allowing brands to promote products to returning retailers, encouraging reorders. Previously, ads targeted only new retailers. This update aims to strengthen existing relationships and boost sales. The rollout will occur over the next few months.
How will Faire's new retargeting feature impact brand-retailer relationships?
