BigCommerce has introduced a range of AI-driven tools aimed at boosting sales and enhancing user experience. Key among these is BigAI Product Recommendations, powered by Google AI, which offers real-time personalized product suggestions to increase conversion rates. Additionally, the BigAI Copywriter, leveraging Google's Gemini 1.5 Pro, allows for the generation of SEO-optimized product descriptions in seconds. "BigAI Copywriter has allowed us to provide well-worded, lengthy, SEO-friendly product descriptions on a large scale," said Jason Cadden, eCommerce Manager at Smoky Mountain Knife Works.
BigCommerce is strengthening its B2B offerings with new features like role-based access control and an AI-integrated quote workflow. These features streamline the sales process and improve operational efficiency. Rene Clobes, Digital Marketing Manager at Expresso, said, "The strengths of our original store have been successfully retained and enriched with specific-target customer approaches. The new technology simplifies our daily work with many useful functions."
Feedonomics, integrated with BigCommerce, is now enhancing omnichannel selling. The new Instant Commerce offering supports local delivery and BOPIS (buy online, pickup in-store), aligning with programs like Amazon Today. This integration also features an upgraded API, enabling brands to manage orders more effectively across multiple platforms. Bill Dillon, President of Consumer at Otter Products, shared, "Feedonomics continues to support us post-integration, allowing our team more time to focus on strategy and growth."
BigCommerce has introduced tools to help brands expand globally, offering localized payment options and checkout experiences tailored to specific regions. The platform now supports 15 languages, including Japanese. "It's really easy to set that up between BigCommerce and the payment gateway provider," said Jenni Schneider, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMD Global.
