Tesco's new marketplace includes 9,000 products from 17 sellers. Shoppers can buy DIY, homeware, and more, collecting Clubcard points with every purchase. This makes Tesco a one-stop shop for groceries and more.
Tesco has launched an online marketplace to expand its product range. As of June 4, 2024, customers can now shop for thousands of third-party items alongside their groceries. The aim is to make Tesco.com a one-stop shop for all needs.
The new marketplace starts with 9,000 products across DIY, garden, homeware, pet care, and toys. These items are available online and through the Tesco app. Although listed next to Tesco groceries, third-party suppliers will fulfill these orders directly.
Tesco's marketplace features 17 sellers, including Diegeo, Silentnight, Tefal, Tommee Tippee, and Online Home Shop. Peter Filcek, the Marketplace Director, mentioned, "This is an exciting moment. Customers can now earn Clubcard points on all purchases, making shopping more rewarding."
Peter Filcek also shared that Tesco plans to expand the range of products and brands in the coming months. "We’re constantly looking at ways to improve the shopping experience for our customers," he added. The new marketplace promises the same quality and value customers expect from Tesco.
