TikTok Shop will run a special holiday campaign called "Brand Palooza" from Nov. 13 to 27. With brands like Phillips, Benefit Cosmetics, and The Ordinary, the event will offer exclusive deals. TikTok's in-app shopping platform lets customers discover new products through interactive livestreams, a method that took off in China and is gaining traction in the U.S. Experts at TikTok’s New York panel discussed how the platform empowers small brands to reach wider audiences.
Livestream shopping has become a powerful tool for TikTok Shop sellers. Brands like BK Beauty and Canvas Beauty have seen major growth, reaching audiences through livestreams led by influencers and creators. Stormi Steele, CEO of Canvas Beauty, highlighted that TikTok Shop’s platform allows small businesses to scale quickly. Influencers like Steven King (@Bytpep) and Annie Leal (I Love Chamoy) shared their success stories at the event, with Leal’s viral moments driving brand recognition.
TikTok Shop is also investing heavily in safety. In its latest report, TikTok banned over 5 million products and revoked more than 30,000 seller permissions. TikTok Shop is hosting matchmaking events between sellers and creators to promote a safe, trusted shopping experience. Additionally, its Affiliate app connects brands, sellers, and creators, allowing them to maximize exposure. With its continued efforts, TikTok aims to shape the future of e-commerce by enhancing community trust and innovating user experience.
