📦 Dangerous Imports
The Korea Customs Service (KCS) recently tested 252 children’s items from AliExpress and Temu. They discovered 38 products with toxic chemicals. Phthalates, cadmium, and lead were particularly prevalent, exceeding Korean safety standards significantly.
🚨 High Risk Levels
Phthalates, found in 27 products, were up to 82 times over the limit. Cadmium, a known carcinogen, was found up to 3,026 times the limit in six products. Lead was also detected in five items, posing severe health risks.

"We are committed to consumer safety," stated Ray Zhang, CEO of AliExpress Korea, during a press conference. "Our platform will review and enhance safety measures immediately."
