Maurizio D’Arrigo has joined Vinted as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Vinted, Europe’s leading online marketplace for second-hand fashion, announced this appointment on July 22, 2024. Maurizio has nearly 20 years of experience at eBay, where he held various key positions, including CFO UK, CFO Europe, and CFO, Global Markets. Most recently, he led eBay's UK business.
Maurizio began his career at Accenture, gaining valuable insights into e-commerce and marketplaces. His experience at eBay has equipped him with a deep understanding of global finance and market dynamics. Maurizio expressed his excitement about joining Vinted, stating, “Vinted is an exciting company at the forefront of a new sector. I am impressed by its strong team, focus on financial strength, and dedication to creating products that enable more climate-friendly consumption. I’m thrilled to join at such a pivotal time.”

Maurizio replaces Vaidas Urba, who stepped down in 2023 for personal reasons after nearly a decade with Vinted. Vaidas played a significant role in Vinted's growth and development.
