shöpping.at expands to Germany, offering Austrian products online. Retailers get $6/order bonuses in Nov-Dec 2024. German shoppers enjoy free shipping. This launch aims to capture holiday sales and boost Austrian exports with EU retailer onboarding.
shöpping.at, Austria's leading online marketplace, launches in Germany tomorrow. Founded in 2017 by Österreichische Post, it features 3.5M+ products. This move allows Austrian retailers to expand their markets tenfold, offering German shoppers diverse products like Austrian delicacies, wine, electronics, and more. Over 60 employees support this growing marketplace, which already serves hundreds of thousands of users monthly.
To attract attention, shöpping.at offers enticing launch perks. Retailers earn $6 per order to Germany in November and December 2024, including tax. German shoppers enjoy free shipping during the same period, ideal for holiday shopping. Delivery options are customizable, giving retailers flexibility to decide on shipping regions or product-specific availability.
The platform is also opening doors to EU retailers aiming to sell in Austria and Germany. This effort broadens the product range, giving buyers more options. Retailers can sign up through a dedicated portal, gaining access to a CO2-neutral delivery network and attractive shipping incentives. Current incentives include free shipping for orders above $39 in Austria and $69 in Germany.
“This launch is perfectly timed for the Christmas season,” says Robert Hadzetovic, CEO of shöpping.at. The expanded reach boosts sales potential for retailers during the lucrative holiday period. With free shipping and discounts for German shoppers, the platform aims to gain a foothold in Germany’s e-commerce market. The combination of strategic campaigns and EU collaboration positions shöpping.at for rapid growth in 2024 and beyond.
