👗 Launch of Circular Collection
OTTO has introduced a new Circular Collection, 1.5 years after its first launch. This collection includes 18 items such as trousers, tops, dresses, and blouses, priced between $20 and $70. Each piece is designed to be recycled into high-quality new fibers, minimizing waste.
♻️ Sustainable Materials and Design
Every item in the Circular Collection uses reusable raw materials like organic or recycled cotton, and recycled polyester. Buttons are made from cedar wood. Each item features a digital product pass, "circularity.ID®", with an NFC tag containing details about materials and recycling channels.
📱 How Circularity.ID® Works
Customers can scan the circularity.ID® using their smartphone or QR code on the care label, directing them to a website with product information and return channels. This system helps sort old textiles accurately, ensuring they are recycled or reused effectively.
🌍 OTTO's Sustainability Goals
OTTO aims to be climate-neutral by 2030. By 2025, all OTTO brands will be fully sustainable. The company plans to expand its range of sustainable items and reduce packaging waste, aligning with the 1.5-degree climate target.
