Amazon extends its returns window for items bought between Nov 1 and Dec 31, 2024. Shoppers can return these items until Jan 31, 2025. Apple products have a shorter window, eligible for returns until Jan 15, 2025.
For the 2024 holiday season, Amazon is once again extending its standard returns window. Any items purchased between Nov 1 and Dec 31, 2024, can be returned through Jan 31, 2025. This extension aims to accommodate customers shopping early for the holiday season, providing more flexibility for returns after the busy festive period.
While most products are eligible for return until Jan 31, 2025, there is an exception for Apple products. Items from this brand can only be returned until Jan 15, 2025. Amazon has had similar policies in past holiday seasons, but the shortened window for Apple goods has been notable for customers purchasing high-end electronics.
The extended return window applies to all types of orders, including seller-fulfilled, Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA), and Amazon Retail orders. This means whether you are purchasing directly from Amazon or from a third-party seller, you will still benefit from the same generous return policy.
Although Amazon is providing a longer time frame for returns, it's important to note that the eligibility criteria for returns remain the same. Items must still meet the standard conditions to be eligible for a return. This policy helps streamline the process for both buyers and sellers while maintaining the same standards for returns.
