Swish raised $2M led by Accel, targeting Bengaluru expansion. Their 10-minute delivery model, via 'delight centres,' aims to meet rising demand. India's quick commerce market could reach $40B by 2030. Swish plans 150 centres by March 2025.
Swish, a Bengaluru-based food-delivery startup, secured $2M in seed funding led by Accel. Notable angel investors include Urban Company founders Abhiraj Bhal and Varun Khaitan and ex-Swiggy Instamart head Karthik Gurumurthy. The funds will power Swish’s Bengaluru expansion, aiming to dominate the 10-minute food delivery market. Swish, founded in 2024 by Aniket Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja, and Saran S, operates through cloud kitchens called "delight centres." These centres are designed to deliver freshly prepared food within a 1.5-2 km radius.
Swish started operations in HSR Layout and rapidly expanded to Bellandur. By March 2025, the company aims to establish 150 delight centres in Bengaluru, solidifying its local presence. Long-term plans include expanding to other Tier-1 cities. CEO Aniket Shah highlighted the need for ultra-fast food delivery, stating, “Despite advancements, food delivery still takes 30-60 minutes, which doesn’t meet customers' expectations for cravings.” The 10-minute model aligns with changing customer preferences driven by the quick-commerce boom.
India’s quick commerce market, a fast-growing segment of the e-commerce industry, is expected to hit $40B by 2030. Though still a novelty in food, this sector addresses growing consumer demand for speed and convenience. Swish’s full-stack model optimizes every step of the supply chain to deliver ultra-fast service. “Customer expectations have shifted dramatically,” noted Abhinav Chaturvedi, Accel Partner. Swish’s innovative model could set a benchmark for the industry, creating new standards in hyperlocal food delivery.
With Accel’s backing, Swish plans to refine its operations and expand aggressively. Its "delight centres" are a game-changer, rethinking cloud kitchen setups for unprecedented delivery speeds. The company aims to lead the food delivery market, leveraging its unique 10-minute delivery model. As competitors eye the quick commerce space, Swish’s bold vision positions it to emerge as a key player in India’s burgeoning quick-commerce revolution. The journey from Bengaluru to nationwide expansion could reshape how Indians experience food delivery.
