Clifford Cohen, the chief technology officer of Asos, is leaving the fashion retailer after nine years. He joined Asos in 2015 as its digital boss. Cohen announced on LinkedIn that he is moving to the renewable energy sector starting in August. He expressed gratitude to his technology team and key leaders at Asos for their support and friendship over the years. Cohen said, "It has been an absolute pleasure and honour to lead the tech team at Asos and I couldn’t be prouder of the team we have today and what we have achieved."
Hugh Williams has been appointed as the interim executive vice-president for technology at Asos. Williams has a rich background, having run his own advisory firm and worked with companies like Doordash, Moonpig, and Ocado. He started his role on June 17. Asos CEO Jose Antonio Ramos expressed his gratitude towards Cohen and welcomed Williams, highlighting Williams' extensive experience with major global tech companies such as Microsoft, eBay, and Google. Williams has been advising Asos on its technology and digital product strategy for the past 18 months.

Before joining Asos, Cohen worked at M&S for eight years in various roles, including business solutions manager, head of IT, and interim chief information officer.
