On July 17, 2024, Wolt, a Finnish delivery service and online marketplace, launched its first Wolt Market outside Berlin in Hamburg. This new location marks the fourth store for Wolt, furthering its mission to become an "app for everything." The store offers over 5,000 products, including fresh produce, baked goods from Bäckerei Junge, frozen items, dairy, household essentials, and cosmetics. The market also supports local suppliers, featuring items from North Coast Coffee Roasters, Kornfetti liqueurs, and Luciella's Ice Cream. Additional brands like Elbgold will be added soon.

The new Wolt Market is strategically located at Kieler Straße 209-211 in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel. This location enables the service to reach many districts, including Altona, Eppendorf, Hamburg Neustadt, Harvestehude, Hoheluft, Othmarschen, Ottensen, Rotherbaum, Bahrenfeld, Lokstedt, Lurup, and Groß Flottbek. Orders can be placed Monday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Customers can expect delivery within 35 minutes or opt for in-store pickup.

Wolt Market employees pack the orders, and Wolt couriers deliver them swiftly. Bassel Soukar, Head of Retail Wolt Germany, stated, "Our goal is to offer our customers all the things they need for everyday life at Wolt, ordered and delivered from the neighborhood. We are already doing this very well with a wide selection of restaurants, retailers, pharmacies, and pet food. With Wolt Market, we are offering another way to get groceries delivered quickly and easily." This initiative complements Wolt's existing partnerships with grocery retailers, including Hamburg Edeka stores.
