Vinted’s ‘Re~invinted’ campaign, launched on Feb 3, 2025, reveals second-hand shopper personas, while the platform also adds a new category for collectibles, broadening its marketplace beyond fashion.
On February 3, 2025, Vinted introduced ‘Reinvinted’, a campaign unveiling the unique culture of second-hand trading. The campaign is part of Vinted’s “New Again” platform, which promotes the pride of finding, selling, and reinventing fashion sustainably. ‘Reinvinted’ highlights the habits of millions choosing second-hand over new, celebrating shopping, selling, and saving on their terms.
The campaign reveals 32 distinct personas representing different second-hand shopper behaviors, such as ‘Negotiator’, ‘Sneakerhead’, and ‘Retroholic’. Insights include: 19% of sales start with a DM, sellers prefer offers between 6-9 PM, and 30% of members have only 5-star reviews. Users can also take a quiz to discover their ‘Pre-loved Personality’ and receive personalized “Vin-sights.”
Beyond fashion, Vinted now offers a new marketplace for collectibles, allowing users to buy and sell items like trading cards, figurines, stamps, coins, and gaming accessories. This expansion enables members to turn forgotten treasures into cash or find unique collector’s items. Transactions are secure, with no selling fees.
The ‘Re~invinted’ campaign and the collectibles category are available in the UK, France, Poland, and Germany. The initiative aims to challenge stereotypes about second-hand shopping, making luxury fashion and rare collectibles more accessible. Vinted continues to grow as a go-to marketplace for diverse pre-owned goods.
