The new brand, launching in Spring 2025, blends Nike's sports science with Skims’ body-inclusive designs. A global expansion is planned for 2026.
Kim Kardashian and Nike are joining forces for a new brand: NikeSKIMS. Announced in February 2025, the brand will debut in Spring 2025. NikeSKIMS promises to revolutionize activewear by merging Nike’s sports expertise with Skims’ signature body-sculpting designs. The venture follows Skims' $4B valuation and its success with NBA and Olympic partnerships.
The first NikeSKIMS collection will feature training apparel, footwear, and accessories. Kim Kardashian, Skims' Chief Creative Officer, emphasized their meticulous design approach. “Every detail has been obsessed over and carefully considered,” she stated. The brand will focus on inclusivity, offering a broad range of sizes and shades, similar to Skims' shapewear success.
Nike’s sales saw a slight dip in late 2024 despite the rise of athleisure. With CEO Elliott Hill at the helm, the brand is adapting by tapping into Skims’ influence. Competition from Alo Yoga, Lululemon, and Vuori has blurred activewear’s boundaries, making this partnership a timely play to refresh Nike’s appeal.
NikeSKIMS will launch first in the U.S. this Spring, with a global rollout planned for 2026. Pricing remains undisclosed, but the brand aims to be accessible. Jens Grede, Skims' co-founder, said, “We’re creating a new standard in activewear, empowering individuals to move with confidence.” The hype is real, and all eyes are on NikeSKIMS’ first drop.
Will NikeSKIMS redefine activewear, or is this just another collab?
