Hubert Kluske, COO of MediaMarktSaturn Germany, explained, "Our pop-up store integrates the online marketplace into a physical setting, offering a live demonstration of our sustainable products." This move aligns with the company's strategy to blend online and in-store experiences.
The store offers a variety of sustainable products like smartphones, tablets, and e-mobility devices, all refurbished or certified by organizations like EPEAT and TÜV Rheinland. Customers can also exchange old devices for gift cards, supporting the circular economy.
Tübingen, known for its environmental consciousness and tech-savvy population, was an ideal location for this store. The design of the store also reflects sustainability, with all fixtures being reused from previous installations.
