Mailchimp launches interactive, AI-powered popup forms with 8 new offer types, boosting lead generation and audience engagement.
Mailchimp just revamped its popup forms, making them smarter and more interactive. These forms now feature eight new offer types, including discounts, event signups, and free content. Marketers can customize them for mobile-first designs and targeted engagement. AI-powered personalization helps businesses convert visitors into loyal customers. According to VP Fay Kallel, these forms provide “a frictionless way to capture leads.”
Companies are already seeing results. Joe Gray, Digital Marketing Manager at Avenova, grew his SMS list by 27% in a month using the new popup forms. Dynamic visitor targeting and over 80 templates make customization seamless. The forms capture zero-party data, helping brands reduce acquisition costs. Matt Cimino, Founder of Amped, highlights that “75% of visitors browse on mobile,” making these new mobile-first forms a game-changer.
Mailchimp’s upgraded popup forms are powered by technology from Amped, acquired in 2024. The update allows for full design control, dynamic filtering, and personalized engagement. Marketers can now integrate popups into their email and SMS strategies effortlessly. The feature is rolling out in English to users in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, with global availability coming soon.
Mailchimp is launching its campaign “Popup Like It’s Hot” to celebrate. Wink Creative remixed a hip-hop track to highlight how popups help brands grow their audience. The campaign will be featured across podcasts and social media. Additionally, Mailchimp is enhancing its Meta lead ad integration, Excel file imports, and SMS promo codes. Marketers can expect more seamless tools for audience growth.
