Bolt launches Bolt Ski to serve skiers in Zakopane and other resorts. Cars equipped with ski racks make transport easy. Available this winter in top Tatra destinations. Over 200M Bolt users may benefit globally.
Bolt, founded in Estonia in 2013 by Markus Villig, is introducing Bolt Ski, a winter ride service tailored for skiers. The service simplifies transport to and from slopes with cars equipped with roof ski racks or boxes, ensuring convenience for skiers and their gear. It launches this winter in Zakopane and nearby ski resorts like Bukowina Tatrzańska and Białka Tatrzańska.
Bolt Ski will initially operate in Zakopane and popular Tatra mountain resorts. Destinations include Kościelisko, Bukowina Tatrzańska, and Białka Tatrzańska. Skiers can access the service by selecting the "Bolt Ski" category in the Bolt app, with rides tailored for snowy conditions and ski transport.
The new category is easy to use. Riders select “Bolt Ski” in the app to ensure their car is ski-ready. Drivers will provide vehicles equipped for snowy roads and equipped with ski racks or roof boxes. Bolt aims to make ski trips safer and more comfortable for all users.
Bolt operates in 50+ countries, with 200M+ users and 4.5M drivers. It expanded in Poland in 2017 and now adds Bolt Ski to its services. Besides ride-hailing, Bolt also runs Bolt Market and Bolt Food, delivering groceries and meals in under 30 minutes. This new feature aligns with Bolt's strategy to meet diverse mobility needs.
